Postcards From The Hedge is a complete textile art course for beginners or experienced stitchers. Each week, I show you how to make a fabric postcard featuring something from the British countryside. I started the project on Ko-fi in January 2025 and now you can buy the video and monthly bundles without a subscription.
Each tutorial video is between 45 and 70 minutes long and I show you every stage of the process from start to finish. I love to make simple techniques look sophisticated, and to break down each process so that everyone can achieve great results. The videos are clear, detailed and you can work through the process at your own pace.
Through the course, you will learn slow stitch, embroidery, thread painting, stump work, trapunto, batik, fabric manipulation, applique… the list is endless! We cover a lot of ground so that you can learn what you enjoy, challenge yourself with new techniques and gather all the skills to continue to make your own textile art for years to come.
