Woodland Hoop Art

Description

Learn the art of applique as you create a beautiful embroidered woodland scene.

This full day workshop is aimed at intermediate stitchers who want to develop their embroidery skills and use stitches in a new way.

Rebecca will teach you:

• How to create backgrounds with layered felt
• Simple applique techniques
• How to use simple stitches to add texture and depth to your work
• How to create interesting foreground embroidered details
• How to mount and frame your work in a hoop

All equipment and materials are included. 

Hot drinks and cakes/biscuits are provided.

Venue: Featherstitch House

Timings: Workshop starts at 10 a.m. and finishes at 4.30 p.m. with breaks for lunch and refreshments.

Cancellations and refunds: Refunds within 14 days of the workshop are not possible. But transfers or prepayment for future dates will be offered instead.
